General Surgical Services and Facilities include:
- Center Vet offers state of the art Electrocautery and Ligasure surgical equipment.
- Our Force Triad machine allows us to cut tissue and coagulate blood all at the same time while doing most surgeries. This means surgical procedures are completed faster and with less pain and bleeding than using a standard scalpel blade. From common procedures like spays and neuters to tumor removals and splenectomies, it all gets done sooner which means less anesthesia and faster recovery times for your beloved furry family members.
- The LigaSure component is like a pair of electrified scissors that use heat to seal and cut blood vessels up to 7mm in diameter inside the body. Together they allow us to offer a level of care in our surgical suite usually reserved for specialty and referral clinics.
- Fully-trained veterinary and technical staff to ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet
- A Warm Air Blanket to keep patients warm and comfortable before, during and after surgery
- Nerve blocks for better pain management for our patients
- Advanced sterilization techniques
- State of the art anesthetic monitoring including ECG, pulse oximetry, respiratory CO2, blood pressure and body temperature
- Post surgical monitoring
- Full blood testing in house
